・History Hiroshima Gokoku shrine is located in the center of Hiroshima city. It was built in 1868. However, in 1945, Hiroshima Gokoku shrine was destroyed by atomic bomb so the shrine was relocated and rebuilt in nowadays' place in 1956.
・Related with local baseball team Hiroshima Gokoku shrine is famous for the place where Hiroshima Toyo Carp, local baseball team in Hiroshima, pray for their winning every year. There are two carps' statues in front of the building. The carp is Hiroshima Toyo Carp's image character.
・Hiroshima-castle Next to Hiroshima Gokoku shrine, there is a castle which is called "Hiroshima-castle". It was built by Motonari Mouri who was a strong warrior around Hiroshima area. You can go there soon after going to the shrine and see the trace of Hiroshima-castle.
